"I liked half the food I ordered which was great. If you're thinking about getting a noodle dish, pork over noodles is definitely better than the Taiwanese noodle soup. Pork over noodles is full of flavor. It's marinated ground pork mixed with salted vegetables. Also ordered scallion pancakes. I am Chinese so I'm very picky on my scallion pancakes. The scallion pancakes here was a little lack of scallion flavor, but it was crispy! Chili wonton is very flavorful. Eat it while it's hot! Highly recommended. Let me tell you. I came with my friend. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 noodle dishes. We paid $30 each(that's including tips already). We left with a full belly. Great deal. Come get lunch on a WEEKDAY. Parking in this area can be frustrating. Seatings are very very limited."
"We snuck in at 5:30 and the place was quiet but not when e left at 7pm. The Scallion pancake was freshly made, hot and crispy, just the right balance of dough to crisp. Highly recommend! The drinks were ok, but not the highlight. Not much service but the food made up for it. A thumbs up if you seek out tasty."
"Food too mediocre for convoy st. Got the pork over rice and sesame noodles with beef rib and beef roll. Pork was too salty. They're heavy handed with the soy sauce. Too much rice for too little pork. Rice wasn't made well, it was wet and clumpy. Pickled cucumber was good though. I guess justifies the 12 dollar price tag. Sesame noodles lacked the fragrance most Chinese/Taiwanese food have. Which is weird because the chili oil was visible. It simply didn't taste that great, maybe lacked the sesame flavor? Beef roll was on happy hour for about 10.50. Small portion, taste is not what I was used to, but was ok. Yuzu lemonade was delicious. Worth getting! 29feb24. Y'all need to hire another server. Poor server was going ham by herself. She did a good job though! She was bartending, taking care of of new guests, cleaning up. Everything! One back staff didn't flush the toilet or wash his hands."
"This place is great, it is very small and parking can be tricky. The food is really good, flavorful, and of great quality. Highly recommend the chili wontons, the pickled cucumber and the beef soup. The service is friendly. Definitely going back!"
"Hidden Gem with Unforgettable Flavors! During a recent visit to see our son and his fiancé, we discovered an extraordinary small eatery that left a lasting impression. Despite its modest size, the vibrant atmosphere here is as inviting as it is bustling. Our culinary journey began with the Guava Margarita and Mango Magic - a delightful burst of flavors that set high expectations for the meal ahead. And oh, did the food deliver! We indulged in a range of dishes - from the light and crispy popcorn chicken to the richly flavored beef roll and the tantalizing chili wonton. The pork over noodle and beef noodle soup were hearty main courses, each brimming with depth and aroma. But the true star was the sesame ball dessert, a perfect finale to an already impressive meal. What struck me most was the balance in each dish - flavorful, yet not overpowering, with a delightful aftertaste that lingers on the palate. This eatery truly masters the art of combining ingredients to create a symphony of tastes. If only they'd open a branch in Seattle! A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine, wholesome food."
