To me, it’s all about the chow mein, and today I found my new favorite place. It’s in Shafter but literally a super short drive vs downtown Bakersfield. The owner told us his story and was helpful with ordering suggestions. We’ll be back for sure!"

"Had the broccoli beef and love it, better than Panda Express. They serve steaks and fried catfish a little something for everyone and plenty of seating. They also have a salad bar. A well rounded place to eat lunch and dinner."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem! I highly recommend the ribeye and the steak cube! They are both amazingly delicious. Will return in a heartbeat! Sadly after the last visit I had to rate this a 2 star. Our ribeye and steak cube are very tough to the point we think it’s a different cut of meat. It was also over cooked. For something that cost $30 a plate we are very disappointed. Maybe they changed chef?"
