"Female bartender working night of 3/12 making fun of a young queer couple minding their own business at the bar. They were not being loud, annoying etc. but heard her loudly making fun of them to other customers? Horrible look."
"Drink and eat here! Nunu’s has good food (patty melt), great service (Jeremiah) and a comfy vibe. We are in San Diego for a month and are walking the neighborhood to find places to eat drink and to socialize. Nunu’s does not disappoint! We had the sneaky Tiki and my go to Rum&Coke. We will be back to try the Hemingway daiquiri and the Mezcal Collins. I needed beer sponge before having another drink. The patty melt was perfectly cooked and had the right ratio of onions and cheese. The Rye bread was buttered and toasted. The chef made it so that every bite was a perfect bite. I did not need to move any of the ingredients around, It was lovely."
"It's a great SD dive bar!!!! The drinks are good and stiff. The waiter Mike, has poor customer service and should probably reconsider working front of house. Outside that... This place is pretty awesome."
"Nunu’s is an unsuspecting little tavern, but I found myself pleasantly surprised! The sangria was quite tasty (and strong), and the yard bird club was really quite a good sandwich. I was impressed by the quality as I only expected run-of-the-milk bar food. Nunu’s does a good job of elevating their fare and drink to the next level. The atmosphere is semi-loungey and it feels intimate enough that you can have a fairly private and experience in a crowded bar. I’ll definitely be back!"
"I love the atmosphere, everyone from the bartender to the chef is and always continues to he courtesy and respectful to patrons. By far the best Pork Ribs in town. Burgers and fries are to die for and it always comes from a place of love. You can tell the chef has a true sense and passion for having people feel good through the eating experience. I am a lifelong patron. #RespectTheRIBS"
