"Food looks amazing. With a name like Bubba Gump Shrimp, I expected fresh seafood. My shrimp, however was not. It was rubbery like twice frozen shrimp you get from freezer meals. The pasta tasted great."

"Huge fan of the movie. Lots of photos and references from the film. Food was amazing. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes great with a side of gravy. My wife had the shrimp scampi with lobster sauce. And it was sooooo good. Fresh seafood taste. I liked that the kids meal came with a little shrimp boat. A small gift shop on the side of the restaurant. Decently priced items. I'd definitely go back."

"We had a delightful server. She was knowledgeable and fun. She described dishes perfectly and helped us customize our order. She was able to steer me away from a particular dish cross contamination possibility when I mentioned a possible food allergy. Everyone in our party of five was happy with food quality and taste. Drinks were kept filled. One person had dessert, and it looked great and tasted better according to the pain who had it."

"For a long time, people raved how great Bubba Gump Shrimp is, so while in Anaheim, my friend and I decided to check it out. The atmosphere’s like no other, there’s movie memorabilia scattered throughout, great music, which set the tone for a fun and unique dining experience. Our server was great, friendly, helpful, and prompt. We wanted to try a variety of items, so we ordered Shrimpers Heaven and Forrest’s Seafood Feast. We were there at 3:00pm on a Saturday (before the dinner-rush) and got our meals quickly. Now, the food… Perhaps, all the hype gave us high hopes and expectations, sadly, our meals were a letdown. The food wasn’t bad or gross, we’ve just had better seafood elsewhere and for less money. We visited from Canada, so when we included the exchange, each meal cost $40 and these meals weren’t worth that. The Tempura Shrimp had too much batter, which took away from the shrimp, and the Fried Shrimp was bland and overcooked. The only highlights were the Coconut Shrimp, Hush Puppies, and two sauces that came with the meals. Overall, it’s a fun atmosphere, so our takeaway was more about having a memorable dining experience and not about the food. This isn’t intended to be mean, it’s just an honest opinion. The gift shop near the entrance was fantastic! They have fun memorabilia, shirts and hoodies, which were fairly priced, soft and felt good quality. At the very least, I’d recommend checking that out!"

"Food was okay, nothing to get excited about. It was played beautifully but very bland. Southern food is not bland. The drinks were very tasty. The service was horrible. We waited 20 minutes for a server, another 30 minutes for our drinks, the food was quick, the checks took another 45 minutes after we asked for them."
