"Food - sweet and sour chicken was great. They use really good breast meat and get it decently crispy. Tasted like they use pretty fresh oil too. Sauce was as sweet as it should be. Nobody's ordering sweet and sour chicken to try to be healthy. And they understand that. Fried tofu, pork dumplings, and orange chicken or also really good. Service - great. They were polite and showed up to the table enough but not too much. Food came out quickly enough. Atmosphere - it looked like a pretty typical Chinese restaurant. Works for me. We'll be back."

"When my wife and I crave chicken wings Shanghai Bistro sates our craving. The wife enjoys their straight spicy chicken wing with just the red pepper topping. I on the other hand enjoy the spicy sweet Korean chicken wings. Asian style chicken wings really have that special unique experience no matter what state you're eating them but Shanghai Bistro's ticks all the boxes in taste, spice, crunch and size."

"Food and service was a hit or miss. I've ordered twice here, to go. I don't think I'd actually eat there. The place could do with a bit of cleaning. There are dishes that they do well, and some that's only decent. Price is decent for the area. It's still Woodland Hills after all. I wouldn't order the salt & pepper pork, ever again. It was tough, chewy & bland. On the other hand, their lunch menu is surprisingly good. I enjoyed their eggroll, egg drop soup, hot & sour soup & tofu with mushrooms. The bbq pork with snow peas was decent although my SO enjoyed it very much. I would come back to order the bao, enjoy it with a hoisin sauce on the side. I wasn't expecting a Wow service but I could appreciate if they got my order right (they gave me hot & sour soup when I asked for egg drop) and that the food be actually ready to go when they said it's ready to pick up. It can get annoying. I'll still order from here for the proximity whenever I'm in the mood for Chinese food but I won't consider it the best Chinese food I've ever had."
