"Went looking for a used couch here with friends a few months ago, but found the ones they had were out of our price range, so we just browsed around a bit more, used the bathroom then left. On our way out, the guy at register (who I assume was the owner) said something along the lines of "Don't pretend to shop here if you weren't going to actually buy anything." I might have come back another day because their other pieces were really lovely, but accusing customers of something like that unprompted is so rude and unnecessary that I'm not interested in returning ever again."
"Excellent store filled to the brim with books, lamps, couches, art, rugs, etc. Prices are fair for the quality of the items. Nothing is “cheap” but I felt I paid a fair price for the items I purchased. Kass was awesome!"
"Antiques, now if your looking for some antiques this is the place! They have so much nice vintage and classical things its soninteresting too see. The owner is so knowledgeable about the stuff in his store its almost like story telling. I could get lost in here!"
"Amazing variety. The prices are astronomical! That Disney story book was $15, the lamps are all in the hundreds. The name makes this resale store misleading. It's not for low income folks. It's NOT a thrift store. It is more like a prop store for those in the film industry or like bougie home decor? Idk who has that budget for these items."
"Plan on taking your time. The place is packed with so many things, such as books, table top housewares, dishes, candleholders and furniture. The furniture is a bit expensive, but the prices reflect the very high quality. There are also a lot of reasonably priced items for smaller things, under $10. Parking is metered on Sepulveda or down one block on a side street for free ( check the parking signs). The upstairs is currently closed on this visit, but previously, the upstairs attic was jammed packed with tons of treasures. Hopefully in the future the upstairs will reopen. Masks required at this time."
