"March 10. This was our 5th time coming here in the last 2 months. We love the ribeye/prime Rib sandwich and had it twice before and had been wanting it that night. We arrived 20 mins before the kitchen was closing 540 pm. We placed our orders in time. When our sandwich came, it was the special bacon brisket. Clearly not what we asked for. The waitress who took our order brought the food back and firmly stated this is what I ordered. I explained what asked I for and she said that wasn't what was "communicated". A mistake was made obviously and instead of admitting that, we got a bit of attitude! Long story long, she made right and knocked off 50% on the sandwich we didn't order. The sandwich didn't disappoint! Just the service this time. We still love this place!"

"I placed an order for pick up for my sick in-laws. Later after reviewing my cc statement I found that a 37% tip was added to the bill which I disputed. Watch your bill here. Staff may be adding their own tips. The food was reportedly good."

"I've tried almost everything on the menu over the past 5 years, and many of the one-off daily specials. The cooks here know what they're doing. And the large tap list is constantly changing, with special events and guest taps happening all the time. They do a great job of keeping their current tap list updated on their website, which is something not a lot of bars do, which is great attention to detail. There is seating inside or outside. Honestly, this place reminds me a lot of O'Briens, but in La Mesa. Good food, good beers, friendly service. Definitely worth a try."

"First visit to this small establishment, just walked in from the street. Great atmosphere before you even enter, lots of things to check out, small and intimate place Great for family timenor a date. Fun atmosphere music playe Don patio, and inside, three large TV for viewing. Food was so fresh and tastie, staff was attentive and friendly. Made sure we had what we wanted, always smiling."
