Reviews of The District Lounge
"It's very rare for me to give 1 or 2 star review but this is why yesterday one of my wife's friends we're having a birthday dinner and a clam chill bar and drinks once we arrived at the atmosphere right away it was not like great place to have some speak easy atmosphere also before that she mentioned that there was food but once we try to order something they said they don't sell food they only sell on Tuesday's for Taco Tuesday so right away it fake advertising also as time approached to 9-10 pm a security person came to our table and said that they are closing the pool tables and removing the bar stools and we had a group of people that they were sitting and when the time come they said now the place is a club lol ?¿ Kind of confused on that also because of that the restrooms per my wife there is someone inside to hang you napkins and other amenities but the lady asked for a tip ? I know it's your choice if you want or not but seemed sketchy pretty much we actually ended going to another location but this location is just a pure college people vibe and I really don't recommend this place if you are looking for a chill vibe."
"This place is a local gem. The service is always great. Ask for Jake the bartender he’s awesome. They have a huge selection of drinks. Also Taco Tuesdays $1.50 tacos, $6 dollar margaritas, $8 caddy, 1.50 for chips and salsa and delicious burritos too!"
"Worst bar I have ever been to. The management in this bar is horrible. We reserved a section of this bar for an after party for my daughters wedding day, for some to go and continue the evening since the wedding venue closed at 9pm When we get there, instead of the party/DJ scene that we expected, they had a fight on the TV. the bar had removed all the stools and seats due to a previous fight earlier in the day from what I was told. It was raining hard that night and my niece had on a long bridesmaid dress that was wet. she tripped on the dress and the bar manager saw that , and refused to admit her, stating she was to drunk to come in. This guy was a complete A$$hole. making members of our party wait in line, when we already had reserved the section. Needless to say our party finally got tired of this idiots Napoleon complex and left the bar to find a more inviting location to hang out. I truly felt sorry for the staff, as I continually heard this manager running around yelling at his staff. Avoid this place, plenty of other bars in the area that are much more customer friendly."
"I’ve come during the week when it’s not very busy. I’ve come for Taco Tuesday. I’ve come Friday-Sunday. I love when they have DJ’s. It’s usually a younger college crowd. I usually sit at one of their booths or dance if I am feeling the music. They have a jukebox when they don’t have a DJ. They have a pretty big bar and seating along the bar. They remove tables from the middle in busy nights to have more room for a dance floor."
