Reviews
"I've lived in the neighborhood for several months before trying this restaurant and the only disappointment is that I didn't try it sooner. I very much enjoyed their pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich and pastrami french fries. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I couldn't be happier with my first visit and with about a year and a half left before graduating, I'm probably going to spend a lot of time and money at this place. I live in USC grad student housing and this restaurant is, by far, the most convenient place to eat in the area. It's just a few blocks from my apartment. It's certainly worth the trip."
"Study Hall is a student hangout spot that offers a casual and appropriate atmosphere for its patrons. It's not too fancy, making it a great place for a quick bite or a drink with friends. The fries served at Study Hall are the best in Los Angeles, making it worth multiple visits. Overall, Study Hall is a great option for students or anyone looking for a casual and laid-back hangout spot. The fries alone make it worth a visit; they are crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned, making them a crowd-pleaser. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to unwind with friends."
"I love Study Hall. I go there every Tuesday for my bible study. However, after my experience there tonight I am seriously disappointed in the customer service. I ordered a mango IPA (pictured below) and it looked like orange juice and tasted like soap. After speaking with the manager about my dissatisfaction he refused to pour me a new beer and would not even get me another beer at a cheaper price. Not good."
"I initially thought that it is really a Study Hall where USC students come for their after school studies, but in no time , on a weekend, when crowd at this place cheered to the game, I realised it's a different fun place to be. It's a nice place to hangout if you happen to be around the campus or you can travel as the area is safe and has good crowd. The patio is lit, their sitting arrangement is plenty, the ambience is lively, the servers are welcoming and friendly. We ordered battered fries and beyond meat burger. Those were some really good fries that we had in a long time and that burger was equally awesome. Some of the best beyond meat burgers I had in a long time, thumbs up to the Chef. Soda is unlimited here. The street is good and their is plenty of parking on a busy evening, they have their own parking space next to it. Emy our waitress served us very well throughout, she answered all our inquiries and helped us choose vegetarian options on the menu. Thumbs up to her and cheers to Study Hall. Will be back for more."
"This place is a joke. McDonald cheeseburger for $12.99? No thank you. If I wanted 99 cent a bag burger buns soaked in ketchup and tiny piece of cheese I’d have gotten the same for $2 at McDonald’s Had the pork sprouts too, the entire thing was soaked with sugar it just tasted awful. Like sucking on a soggy sugary cabbage. They are trying to charge like a fancy gastropub when they have absolutely no quality to match for the price. Shady as hell like USC administration."
