"One of the best bar to be in Santa Monica. Great view, good crowd and decent place to have your evening drink(s). Good staff. You can see a beautiful sunset from this place. Usually remain crowded so chances are less to get seating outside. However that's the best part if you get a place there. If you are visiting this place for the first time. Then keep a note they ask for a valid ID to verify you before giving you permission to enter the bar. If you are visiting the USA then carry your passport. Digital copy doesn't work here. Else they might reject your entry."
