"I LOVE living in the Live Oak area of Santa Cruz County - why? There is ALWAYS something going on, and usually you can walk to it, or just hop on a bike and get there within a few minutes. Last summer, we enjoyed some yummy lobster quesadillas and grilled cheese courtesy of the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck at Nubo Brew on 41st. The beer flight was just perfect, usually we get their delicious pretzel board, but today we opted for something new. Best part? It was stroller friendly food and we could walk on down to Pleasure Point and soak in the views before walking home. Love where we live!"

"Really enjoyed their pilsner and "The Hook". The food was good but lacked the smoky flavor we hoped for. The Mac N Cheese was good, the chile was good too but could have used pieces of smoky briscut in it. You have to take care of yourself here, go get your drinks and bus your table. The upstairs patios are nice and private but can get chilly after the sun sets. Three of us ate off the platter and it was more than enough."

"Delicious beers and also, hands down, the best pulled pork I've ever had in my life. Chicken was smokey and succulent, I loved that the sides were not afterthoughts, the collard greens were sooo good, pretzel with mustards and beer cheese does it get any better? Chocolate Lager was out of this world and so was the Fuzz IPA! 10/10 on all fronts beer and food. Cheers!"

"Small quaint local brewery in Santa Cruz located close to the ocean. Friendly staff with great food and beer. Lot of options for beer on draft and in cans. I believe they have usually have a smoked bbq menu. Had the chicken and brisket which were amazing. The sides were decent, we had the chili plus Mac and cheese. Would definitely go back if we are back in town."

"Cute little brewery in Santa Cruz area. The two people working there that day were super nice and friendly, and it felt welcoming. The glass of beer I had was great. I'd have to take on star off on the food which was pricey and they took over half an hour to bring it out (the place wasn't busy at that time.)"
