"Decided to come here for dinner because wife and baby were hangry. It was empty at about 6pm and asked if they were open. One of the worker said yes, and sat us down promptly. Then for some reason it got super awkward. Let me explain. Let me preface this by saying that i think this might have been the waiter/server's first go around with this type of job. So he didn't really have the mannerism's of an actual seasoned server. It was more of a teenager who got their first job and was interrupted from their social media use, when asked for a glass of water type vibe. Needless to say, my hangry wife and I were not impressed my it. I then proceeded to tell the server it was out first time there at FURAIBO and how do things work? Is it like a traditional Izakaya where we just order as much as we want? And he said, "we're known for our wings". ......... Without any other explanation. At this point we just ordered because he was really no help and we were starving. We ordered wings because, apparently, that's what FURAIBO is known for. Two orders of lunch menu combo meals with chicken wings with a bowl of rice, salad and miso soup $11.50 each . One Tori shio charbroiled chicken (7.50), Nasu yaki ( grilled eggplant with miso sauce) $2.25 and a house salad ($4). All in all the food was actually decent. The server seemed to off his, "you're bothering me" kick when the check came around and actually asked us how the meal was. I'm all about the service and experience coming to dine in at a place. I might think about coming back actually. Hopefully by that time the server has had time to deal with more patrons. Other than the girls about the service, the place is super clean, organized, and family friendly with ample parking."

"Tried the wings, chicken, fried tofu, French fries, and miso soup. They were all amazing. The pork cutlet was tender and the breading was perfectly crispy. Fries were gone in 2 minutes flat. FYI they opened mid-Covid so they have a limited menu compared to their other locations. They do to-go orders but also have seating available outside for Covid mandates. Will be back soon!"
