"This place has the most delicious burgers I've ever had. Besides burgers, the rest of the food is also amazing. The staff is friendly and fun. They have a full bar with great cocktails. The ambiance is nice, but the only downside is that the restrooms are in bad shape."

"I absolutely love this place. I’ve been in the Bay Area from New York for 8 years and this place is one of the most welcoming friendliest, old time San Francisco establishments I’ve been to. It’s a nice diverse crowd, the food is delicious and there is just this energy that makes you feel at home. Love the vibe. Ryan and Cindy are wonderful. Actually all of the bartenders are!"

"Been to Louie's a couple times. Tucked in an alley near a number of consulting and financial firms, the crowd is loud and packed on your typical work night in the city. The food is pretty solid, the burger bun is quite thick and I think it sucks up a lot of the fantastic burger flavor. The fries are great and have a nice crisp bite to them, huge fan of whatever they are doing back in the kitchen. The Thai chili chicken is closer to a soy/ balsamic glaze with a bit of a maple flavor to them, but far from what I would expect Thai chili chicken to taste like- good though overall. The kalua pork tacos are truly loaded, messy but really tasty. The drinks including the cocktails are a fair price and often lower than other bars in the area so that's nice. The bar being as loud as it is even when there isn't a huge crowd and when it is busy having really long bar service wait because there is just a huge queue of drinks to be made makes it pretty average for me. Though, if in the area and drop into this alley then it's a good spot and I am not opposed."
