"12/15/2023 We were on our way back to San Diego and ordered a take out from Tamarind. We picked up food so that we can eat when we get home. Ordered Nihari Chicken Karhai 5 plain naan @$2.75 each We were told they close at 10 pm on Friday and we picked up at 8:30 pm. Nihari was nothing but JUST meat srapped from the bottom of the pot with no curry, well may be a teaspoon of curry. Picture attached. Chicken karhai was fine and ALL five naans were burnt. Picture attached. Cannot express how disappointed we were when we reached home hungry after two hours. Extremely mad and disappointed !!"

"This was our first time visit, we were looking for something different from the usual lunch time fare. The Buffet sign caught our attention, everything was very flavorful and the spice level was perfect, not too spicy but definitely not bland. Plenty of vegetarian dishes "the Potatoes and Cauliflower " was very good and the chicken dishes were flavorful and fork tender. The Naan bread was off the charts and fresh and hot. Definitely stop by and have the lunch Buffet at $16.99 you can't beat it. We will definitely be back."

"This place is authentic and super delicious! The vibes are a bit more upscale but the service and food are great. We got the tandoori mixed platter, goat curry, aloo paratha, and basmanti rice."

"Delicious food! The portions are decent. You do have to order rice as it does not come with the entrees, but you get a huge portion. I agree that the vibe is more upscale than I'd expect for a small restaurant, and I wasn't a fan of how quiet it was (both times I've dined in, there was no one else there and no music, waiter/owner sitting in the corner). Ordering takeout seems the way to go, and I believe there are special combo deals if you do."
