"Long time Pasadena pub. I hadn't been there in years. Had fish & chips. The fish was good. The chips were ok. I didn't have a beer because they have the one I wanted and they charge $2 to sample. I have traveled the world and never had a bar charge me to sample a beer on draft. Not cool. Therefore I had water. Only four stars."
"Excellent beer selection and delicious British pub food. The fish and chips are some of the best I've had. The fish is perfectly cooked and not dried out like many places, and the breading isn't too heavy or oily. The steak and Guinness meat pie is also worth a try. Occasionally they run out of some beer offerings but there are so many choices that shouldn't bother anyone. I've never had anything less than great service, even during busy evenings."
