"I bought a jacuzzi pool pump from Leslie’s in 2017. They said it was a good ump. It lasted 4 years and went out. They replaced it in 2021 with another one. The replacement has lasted a year and a half. They would replace it. I’m shopping elsewhere. Leslie’s is a rip-off."

"I have used Leslies in Esco. for all of my pool & spa needs for the last 6 years, spending a large amount of money in this store. Had a yellow algae problem. They recommended a "copper" product and said it would eliminate and deter it from coming back. After using 1/2 the bottle with no change, and using it exactly as the instructions said, I went back to the store for a water test and to let them know this does not seem to be doing anything. They told me water chemistry is fine and to continue using the rest and it will clear up. Didn't work. I went back to the store and spoke with the manager Brian and asked for a refund of this product. He told me he couldn't do that because he could not verify I used it properly, even though I had the empty bottle with me and noted in sharpie the date and amount I used. I don't mind paying for a product that works but spending $30 on something that does not work is not acceptable to me. The $30 they would not refund will lead to hundreds they will loose because of not standing behind the products they sell as I will never return to a leslies pools again...anywhere. If I am ever asked about a good local pool store in the future this chain is one I will not recommend. On top of that the manager Brian needs to take a course in customer service as he appears to not have a clue. It is apparent he is not happy with what he is doing. I did find a great pool store on east valley parkway. People are nice and helpful and their pricing is a lot better. I would steer clear of leslies unless you want a bad experience !!"
