"Came in looking for a suit to wear for a funeral. Didn't catch the guys name but he was very helpful in finding something suitable for me. The process was fast and easy and the price was very good. I would recommend this tailor to anyone."
"I purchased a suit here a few years ago for a wedding I was attending and when I went to pick it up, a day before flying out, we learned that they screwed up my order and made me drive to another location in Santa Ana to pick it up. I didn’t write anything about it then. Last month, I wanted to get my son a suit and thought I’d give them another try. I didn’t want to spend too much and the sign in the store window says $99 suits and free accessories. The suit they offered us was $180. It seemed like a decent suit and, I figured a shirt, a belt and some socks (free accessories) would make it okay. When my son went to pick up his suit, he asked about these accessories and was told he would have to pay for them. So, false advertising. I do not recommend International Suit in Costa Mesa and will never set foot in this store again. There are plenty of other suit places within a ten mile radius."
"Great find. They had excellent customer service and the lady answered all of our questions. The tux we bought looks great and was very reasonably price."
"These guys really know their stuff! They have a huge selection of suit sizes, colors, dress shirts, and ties. All prices were surprisingly low and what I liked about them best is that they don't look cheap!! You save and can still make an impression. I'll definitely be back."
"I am extremely disappointed with the quality and workmanship of the tailor at this store. I took four pairs of suit pants to be hemmed and a suit jacket to have the sleeves shortened a bit. The jacket is a typical 4-button at the sleeves. The very first question I asked when I handed them the jacket was if they would be able to move one button up to preserve the four buttons when they shortened the sleeves. I was told it wouldn't be a problem and that they always move the button up to keep all four. When I went to pick up the items, the first thing I checked was the jacket sleeve. 3 Buttons. Strike one. Next, I proceed to try the four newly hemmed pants on. I am trying the first pair of pants on and when I put my foot through the pant hole, my foot gets snagged in a large pocket inside the poorly done and incomplete hem around the pants causing the hemming thread to break. I took a close look at the hemming and it wasn't hemmed all the way around the pant hole, and whatever was hemmed was very loose. In some places you could stick your entire hand, that's how poorly the work was. I look at the other 3 pants, all had the same problem. Strike two. At that point I knew the work had been done sloppy and in a rush, but just wanted to see if they got the length right. Nope. All pants were too short. Strike three. How can a professional tailor get everything so wrong? I dropped off the pants on a Tuesday to be picked up on Saturday. They pushed the delivery to Sunday. Looks like my items were done on Saturday and in a mad rush just to get it out of the way. I was told by the nice lady minding the store that they recently lost one of their two tailors. Still, if you are short on personnel you trim or manage the workload accordingly. When it comes to tailoring you should never compromise the quality of the work. I gave the store a shot at making things right. I left all the items to be re-worked and gave them a whole week to do it. I will update this review once I get the items back. I am changing my review based on the final outcome. International suit took care of the issues with my items. Hemming on the pants was way better, as if the pants were hemmed from the factory. They also fixed the jacket and added the fourth button and the jacket cuffs looked right. Must have caught them on a really busy weekend plus I learned they were shorthanded as one of their two tailors was out. I've taken additional items to this location and they've delivered consistently good results."
