"Shala is my favorite place in idyllwild to spend a quiet morning drinking tea! I’ve tried hard to work my way through the menu and everything is seriously delicious. Lots of fun, unique flavors and new spins on classic teas. They also have seasonal flavors that keep the menu fresh and interesting. The baked goods are so so good as well. Also, if there’s a tea you love, you can get a bag of it to take home! Everything about Shala is just incredibly inviting and cozy. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a book or journal. I’m so stoked to have them in Idyllwild! Not to be missed if you are in town visiting."

"Super cute little tea shop right in the middle of Idyllwild. It may look expensive, but the tea is well worth the price. It's small, but seating is tucked into little nooks all over the shop. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our time here and already want to go back."

"This place is divine. You can feel all the love that was put into it; from all the details and the products they offer. Aria the owner was such an amazing host. She was so welcoming and warm. She helped me pick my tea since I was indecisive and you can tell she’s passionate about what she does. I will definitely be going again! I wish there was one in my hometown but I don’t mind driving almost 2 hrs to come have tea and enjoy the rest of what Idyllwild has to offer."

"A wonderful spot that you should absolutely add to your Idyllwild trip. A cozy, newly updated modern rustic interior that is relaxing and enjoyable. A wide assortment of delicious teas prepared with skill and craft that really stand out. To add to it, they have some wonderful baked goods and some unexpected treats and a small shop in the "library" in the back with a great selection of items from books to bath. The staff was amazing and they were also dog friendly. It was the calmest our dog has ever been in a store, so bonus points for the fantastic atmosphere they have built."
