"Peabody Winkstickler once told me about a grocery store deli that was so good at their craft the local police department had to close them down because they created traffic jams and gridlock at every intersection in their area with people trying to get there. He'd walk there every day for lunch, but he'd phone his order in the night before and ask them to leave it in the produce dept. the next day at 11:30 I believe the grocery store he was talking about is this very same Nugget Market! My sandwiches were Amazing! But don't tell anyone because we don't want history to repeat itself. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆"

"This grocery store has always been unique. You can find various items in this market that you might find at Sprouts, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's. The prices at this market used to be very reasonable. But after 2008 when the housing market crashed, the apartments near greenhaven became filled with individuals that were having a hard time, I noticed since their customer base now includes more EBT customers Nuggets prices have gone up exponentially. I think it is unreasonably higher priced then Woodland or Elk Grove CA. But their fresh food counter, coffee drink bar and dessert counters are great!"

"This is a fantastic place to shop they have all sorts of good and some unique foods. If you're from the Bay area it'll remind you of the old Petrini's where you get great service great foods and hard to find foods. The photos below are for the Nugget on Florin near highway 5."
