"The customer manager is incredibly rude. Her name is Blanca. I purchased food at the different Albertsons that ended up being rotten and tried to just exchange for the proper product. Manager would not even bother talking to me, but instead would pass on whatever she wanted to say through a different employee. All that is happening while she’s standing few feet away from me. Until I insisted that she talk to me, only then she bothered to acknowledge my presence. Again, after I explained to her that I’m nowhere close to the store that I bought the food at, she still refused to even remotely accommodate me. When I asked for her name and badge number, she only gave me her first name, but refused to give me any other information and proceeded to cover up her name tag. When I ask for the corporate number, she told me to go look on the receipt. I asked her to write it down for me and she refused again. Her attitude was completely different when talking to clients of a different nationality."
"This is my local store. The parking lot is filthy. They have run out of carts on a few occasions that I've gone. I absolutely despise that I have to use an app to save money. Everything is so expensive here and their produce is not that great. I have a neighbor who is a chef that heard me say I hated our Albertsons and he was shocked in front of my husband and I. Then one day we were in Mission Viejo (where I used to live) and I took him to Pavilions on Marguerite parkway. He was like, "I totally get why you hate our Albertsons now". I only go to this place if I absolutely must. The workers are really nice though (for that I will add a star) and this review is of no fault to them. This is more a management issue."
"I like this location, it is one of only 2 Albertsons in my city the beautiful city of Escondido. The staff here is nice and the selection is always stocked with a wide variety. They also have the foods very good always in stock as well so that's why they get four stars."
"My local store. Selection of packaged goods are on point. Perishable items selection can vary, but they do their best to keep fruit and vegetables fresh and available. Regarding staff. Everyone is helpful. I enjoy any of the cashiers. They all have a positive spirit. I am bias tho as my favorite cashier is Eddie. Prices are high everywhere so not really putting it on Albertsons. However if you leverage the Albertsons App and weekly sales you can find some good deals. That’s when I buy bulk. On sales. I wish there was more we can do to address the homelessness and characters that visit the shopping center. I pray for them and I hope that as a community we help address these issues.
