Walmart

"The store is clean. However, employee adherence to loss prevention policies causes an "enforcement " mentality during customer interactions. This results in very poor customer service. For example: we needed detergent. Once the cabinet was unlocked, the csm took us to the cosmetics counter. We had a total of 9 items. The employee refused to allow the shopping cart to be brought close to the area, refused to use the hand held scanner, and DEMANDED we put all items on the counter for scanning. Then... she REFUSED to put them back in the basket. Her job was to stand there to watch the cosmetics. Had I been alone, I would have walked away and forced her to put away my products.... just to prove a point."

"I recently was in Cali and stopped by here to pick up a photo enlargement I had ordered online. It turned out great, but has me giving 5stars to this store is an employee by the name of Javier I photos. The photo I picked up was for my uncle’s funeral. It was his sunrise to sunset picture. After seeing it I thought I needed a 2nd one and asked Javier if I order one will I be able to get it the same day since it was 6:30 in the evening and I needed it today as I was leaving at 5am the next day. Not only did he assure me that it would print same day, but he handle the entire situation with such care which was a breathe of fresh air. I know he was just doing his job, but he was attentive and provide the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you Javier. I appreciate you."

"This store is clean and well organized. Also, it's well staffed at the self checkout. Parking can be a challenge with popular restaurants and the mall nearby. However, the walk is usually short. Not recommended for after dark visits. Although, there are constant security vehicles roaming the areas nearest the entrance."

"Not often a walmart gets a 5 stars but this one definetly is one of my faves. As you see the picture proof the staff is so kind everytime our family visits. My son always has to try all the toys and we definetly LOVE the disney collection, we always find cool and fun merch. Mellow atmosphere and the kindest staff deserve a tip of the hat for sure. Also, thank you fortuna for stopping and giving a beautiful greetings to my son, that shows a wholesome family local mart at its best."

"Walmart at Buena Park Mall offers a satisfactory shopping experience. The store, like other Walmart outlets, is generally clean and well-organized, with a wide variety of products to choose from. The mall itself is going through a tough period, with quite a few vacant store spaces and relatively low foot traffic. This doesn't impact the Walmart shopping experience, but it does affect the overall ambience of the mall. One issue to note at this Walmart location is the high number of items locked up due to theft concerns. While it is commendable that the store takes steps to prevent theft, it can sometimes be a hassle for customers who need assistance to access these items. It can be challenging to find staff members to help unlock the cases. Despite these minor issues, the Walmart at Buena Park Mall delivers a fairly solid 4-star shopping experience. The store could further improve by having more staff available to assist customers, especially with the locked cases."
