"My store visit in April of 2023 proves a more realistic rate of inflation. Although this store used to have items that costed more before the pandemic, majority of items used to be sold for 99 Cents, hence the name of the store. Unfortunately, the same items are now being sold for $1.99 which shows the true inflation rate from the reported 7% to a crazy 100% or less. Now you think twice before buying stuff because they were "just a dollar"."
