"Beautiful store Excellent customer service. The bakery is amazing. The variety is limited in certain areas. The prices are completely outrageous. I paid $ 5.99 lb for peaches during peach season. $14 for a cooked chicken. Insane. In an emergency or for bakery great place other wise go to Vons on next parking lot."

"Specialty supermarket with some items you won't find everywhere. This place is so clean, you could almost eat off the floor. Everything is beautifully arranged. You can save money shopping there if you look for the "red tag specials" which are not advertised. If you are looking for a special item, this place will not disappoint. We found a wonderful "fish spatula" in the housewares section. This market has the nicest produce; they have literally curated only the best samples for the store. Finally, you'll never wait in any long line at Gelson's. The minute 3 people are waiting at the registers, they will call people from the back or wherever to expedite your purchase. Truly amazing. It's a luxury shopping experience, but, you'll pay a little extra for that."

"This has to be the most unnecessary amount of snobs looking down their noses at me cause i walked through the parking lot. God forbid i stop to tie my shoe before security is aldeady standing over me telling me to leave. How did you know if i was a customer coming to spend what little i have to get some food. Ridiculous... YOUR NO BETTER OF A HUMAN THAN I JUST CAUSE IM GOING THROUGH UNFORTUNATE EVENTS IN MY LIFE. GOD HATES UGLY RUDE PEOPLE. "Such a swanky place but honestly they have amazing produce. Always fresh and bright. And their salad bar? Hang on tight because it will blow you away. It’s expensive but my god is it delicious."
