"The service at this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, especially for female guests. Staff seem to direct their attention and explanations predominantly towards male customers, even going as far as serving certain dishes exclusively to them. In an instance where a female guest mentioned she hadn't received a dish she ordered, the waiter's response was astonishing. Instead of addressing her concern, he asked the man sitting next to her if he'd like another serving of it. This behavior is not only appalling but also hints at underlying gender bias. A better approach would be to ensure the excellence of their food and equal treatment of all customers."
"Been here twice it’s located in the heart of little Tokyo on 1st street. The food and service is incredible! The restaurant is gorgeous, simple minimalist Japanese. Both times we’ve ordered the Yosenabe Kaiseki course. It’s really delicious and there’s many courses. Everything is presented beautifully. Our meal started off with 3 appetizers, sashimi, chawanmushi (so silky), soup and the basket full of seafood. It also came with a side of udon & porridge. Followed by dessert and tea. Everything so good! And so much food! We’ve also been to their bar on a couple of occasions & they have an extensive sake list. They even have sparkling sake! My new favorite. They also have a great bar food menu. Highly recommend this gem. The owner Tomoko is lovely "
"Absolutely stunning work of art from all chefs and staff. Excellent soft shell crab, toro, and dessert :) Chef Minoru is the best! Looking forward to celebrating your anniversary March 22, 2024!"
"The omakase here was absolutely amazing and priced very well. The bluefin toro with black truffle, nodoguro, and barracuda were especially memorable! There’s also a huge selection of sakes. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere, and a nice minimalistic aesthetic. Will be back!"
"What an amazing place to be! This is seriously the best Shabu Shabu and Sushi spot I have ever had a little Tokyo in a very long time. I’ve been here once or twice a week for a month, and I even brought one of my close friends here for their birthday recently. The staff is amazing. The sushi chefs are very talented, and the sushi is all imported from Japan. This place is a hidden gem with so much potential charisma and authenticity that there is so much flavor with every bite. Misako, the hostess is so amazing and gracious. She welcomed me from my first phone call and have made this place my new home for sushi and shabu shabu. So good!"
