"The COX mobile app for account information has recurring issues. Getting customer support to fix this or to even comprehend the issue has proven to be pointless. Long story short for those that rely on paperless billing the app states "NO BALANCE DUE" with a white check mark in a green circle. This occurs even when the bill is in fact due. This creates confusion and may lead to late charges and service interruptions. Please correct your app to be accurate for all paperless billing customers."

"By far THE worst customer service and service I’ve EVER experienced. It did NOT allow me to give a 0 rating, or I certainly would’ve. I honestly feel a rating of 1 is too generous. COX Royally Sucks!"

"Terrible customer service. Spoke with the technician on the phone because our internet is so spotty and bad. He said that because we were loyal customers, he would give us a new modem/ router combo. Suspicious, I asked, "Do we own this unit or rent it?" He said you would own it. You can pick it up or have it shipped. I said, "Are you sure it's not a sneaky rental? Own? O W N? Free?" He said you can have it and throw it away tomorrow if you like. I said, "Are you sure, because I'll just as soon buy something myself online that I will own." He says yes. Convinced, I went to the store to pick it up, and Jason says, that's not how we work, I have no notes from the technician, we don't do that, let me talk to my manager he says no, you can buy one for $180 or rent it for $15 a month." Treated me like a liar, gaslit me about what was promised, wasted my time, and when I called the customer service line again, they gave me the run around as well. They would not allow me to speak to the tech who made these promises. Please, I am begging you not to go into this store because they will ruin your day too. I'd rather write letters in cursive and deliver by the Pony Express than use this service."

"Over priced. My bill has doubled in the last few years. The service ALWAYS goes out. I changed to Frontier for half the price and so far the service had been perfect. Even though I cancelled COX over a month ago, they still keep billing me. Lots of people I know have the issues and complaints."

"Don't waste your time or money. Twice the price and half the service of Frontier. Tried dropping my equipment off at 2:30 on Saturday and doors were locked even though 5 workers inside. This is exactly what cox is. No service, weird hours, even though plenty of people available to help."
