"An amazing new place for Malabari cuisine from India’s southern state of Kerala. Quick and friendly service. We had the beef fry, appam, porotta and chicken curry. Every dish was well cooked, well spiced and fresh. The appams were soft and fluffy with that slight tang. The porottas were crispy and flaky. The chicken curry was the true winner. The beef fry was delicious too but we were a little underwhelmed by the spice. Maybe we were expecting more spice. The place was clean and they had malayali songs playing in the background which added a nice authentic touch. My only peeve was that the cost of the appam and paratta was slightly more for the quantity. They should have given two for the price they were charging for one. Also, rice should have been served with the curry as is practice in most desi restaurants. Nevertheless I’m excited to go back and try more of their items."
"The atmosphere and the service of the place was a bit disappointing. We decided to dine-it at the restaurant and were served the entrees in plastic bowls. The chairs were stacked up even at peak dinner time. The vibe and ambience of the place was quite dull. I would not recommend to dine in at the restaurant. The place is fine for pickup if you’re looking to try some Kerala cuisine. The pricing of the food was reasonable. Chicken Roast: 3.5/5 Beef Fry: 3/5"
"Pretty good food if you’re looking for kerala cuisine. The porotta and beef roast were particularly good. The place was a little run down."
"Ordered parotta with chicken varutharachadhu, beef ularthiyadhu and garlic shrimp. Beef was good but chicken tasted stale and bad. Parotta was hard and chewy. Garlic shrimp was spicy with raw masala. This place used to be good pre COVID. Now the quality had come down. We went on a week day and it was just us in the restaurant. There are not many Kerala restaurants in the bay so I really wish they maintain quality."
"Nice Kerala curries! We had biryani, fish mango curry, beef masala, and the anchovy fry with a couple paratha breads. All tasty and well made. The shop is running on low staffing as orders is made thru the online clover system. Reasonably fast in serving."
