"The place is very hyped up and does not live upto the expectations. I have been to the original one in Mumbai which is way better than this one. The ambience is ok but the presentation of the dishes and prices are high end. We tried the pav bhaji fondue which was ok, it was grounded into a paste which didn’t have the pav bhaji texture. We also tried their special dahi ke kebab which was not good and can be skipped. We also tried their paneer butter masala and garlic naan which is the best Indian naan i have had in any Bay Area restaurant. If you decide to try this place, my recommendation is to skip the appetisers and go straight to the main course. We ended our meal with koolfi which was nice and came with a lot of toppings. Overall, one time try for the presentation and service but the food could be better!"
"If you haven’t been to Spiceklub in Cupertino, give it a try. Truly creative and delicious Indian dishes that impress and delight. Great service, wonderful ambience, and reasonably priced for such a treat. Highly recommended."
"Decent food, toned down flavor, good presentation. Definitely not worth the price. Terrible terrible service. It took us 2 hr 15 mins for dinner for 2 due to their extreme slow service. Initially took them 30 minutes to come and take the order (we had to eventually ask them to come to take our order). It took them over 1 hour 15 mins to get us our main course after taking the order. (Even for this, had to ask multiple servers for our order status. Most of them listened and ignored, never responded back)."
"The place is colorful and has nice upbeat vibes. I talked to the owner and if I understood her correctly, she is an ex-engineer who turned her creativity towards opening a restaurant with her take on north Indian dishes. The dishes are innovative and beautifully plated. Dry ice and vibrant colors. Even the drinks have unique presentations. Yes, some of them don't exactly taste delicious/hearty but that is common for fine dining. I liked the Hazari Paneer Tikka. It tasted meaty and substantial. The mushroom truffle biryani was very fragrant. I do think there are some dishes that are extraordinarily overpriced. I asked about adding a shot to a drink and they said it would be $10 extra. The service was nice for the most part but there was a gruff waiter, who insisted we got a dish that we hadn't received."
"For the pure veg options this restaurants is the Best in Bay Area but yes it's an expensive one. But the tastes and the ambience make it totally worthful. Suggest to have a booking as the dine in may get crowded during weekends and holidays. Staffs are very cooperative. Parking space adjacent has decent capacity. Restrooms are clean."
