"I would leave a zero star for the service if I could. The cashier made me waiting for such a long time until I went to her twice and asked for my order to go bento. I noticed that quite a few people behind me had already gotten their food. She knew I was waiting there, and she pretended to neglect my order. I will never come back again."
"I used to love getting takeout here during the pandemic. I was excited when they separated from Chick & Tea to a more convenient location for me so I went there a lot when it first opened. The grilled squid was a surprise standout for me, absolutely delicjous with the basil leaves and the portion was large as well, which you usually don't see for the more expensive seafood itemd. Of course, the fried chicken cutlet, as a staple in a Taiwanese bento place, was good as well. If you want to switch it up but still get fried goodness, the fried pork cutlet is a good alternative. The cons are that the prices have increased steadily, the side dishes aren't good, and the quality has gone down. Another bummer is that they used to have stamp cards where you can accumulate points for drinks, fried chicken cutlet, etc., but they abolished it to an online system. They even converted our stamp card points when we were already completed one stamp card. I mean, at least honor it if it is finished and we worked hard to get those points. But never matter. It's mostly about my recent visit where the popcorn chicken didn't taste as good as before. Also, I don't recommend the fried fish. It's quite expensive for what it is. There is plenty of indoor seating and a unisex bathroom. Parking is in a small one-way parking lot."
"“I come every week” The Thai inspired Taiwanese style ( I know it’s confusing as hell) is awesome. Their popcorn chicken and fried tofu + kimchi are also pretty good. But if you are looking for non fried stuff, go for 滷味拼盤(grill combos?)."
"Great place for takeout. Would recommend ordering ahead for pickup. They get both food and boba orders (and deal with them as efficiently as they can), but expect a wait if you order at the restaurant. Excellent portion sizes for the price you pay. Got the popcorn chicken bento and was surprised to find a quarter of the bento be popcorn chicken. They didn't skimp out on the meat! Really complete meal as well, with veggies, protein and rice. Of course, the meal still has to taste good, and that it did! Really crunchy and well-seasoned chicken. Tasty glass noodles and nice sauteed veggies. Their tea was fine too, nothing particularly special, goes well with the meal."
