"Girls night out on a Sat night. Waitress and servers were busy so we need to wait for long time to order and get drinks ready. Food was ok. Average tapas not too impressive and not bad. Tomato toast it’s special and refreshing. Fried calamari has squid ink dipping sauce which enhance the flavor as well."
"Good tapas in buzzy downtown Mountain View. Courteous host led us to our table and we were attended by sweet and relaxed waitstaff. Standard favorites for a tapas menu, we LOVED the wild mushroom dish with egg yolk and their house salad. We also thought the gambas were very fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable for this area and it would be totally doable to have a light dinner for two for $50. If you throw in drinks and a few additional heavier menu items probably closer to $90 but it would be a fun time and romantic. We like this place and we think it is among the best for tapas in the Bay Area. Lots of gluten free items and would be veg friendly for those looking for that. Definitely recommend and we ourselves will be back as well to try the bravas, the mussels, and the anchovies on the next visit. Thanks!"
"No complaints with staff and atmosphere, Tapas are very good, paella just ok. My biggest complaint are your portion sizes including the paella. Your menu is already pricie and leaving hungry after spending $261 dollars between 6 of us very disappointing. I will not return again."
"A restaurant with Spanish food, like tapas and wine. Pros: The atmosphere is pretty nice, and the service was really friendly. They have a good menu, and the tapas feel like true Spanish tapas. Cons: the paellas were disappointing, both the 'marisco' (shellfish) and black rice. The price is not aligned to the experience and food."
"It’s by far my favorite Spanish restaurant in Bay Area, love their paella & tapas choice a ton! Nicely open with elevated indoor seating space, this restaurant is very popular esp during Friday nights & weekends, but yet I kept coming back. It’s an authentic place offering true Spanish cuisine, the food tastes just like the small restaurants we visited in Madrid or Valencia, which is a huge level up compared to other so called Spanish restaurants in the area ( but instead offering a fusion of cuisine, kinda disappointing if you look for real Spanish cooking) Any dishes we ever ordered, cooked to perfection, the sangria or mock tail? Also great like bringing you to the night on Sevilla old town. Their service team is super nice, always in a great mood & attentive ( though the restaurant is super full & busy!) love the surprise bday song they sang to me as well! Oh, don’t forget to order their cheese cake for dessert! Personally, it’s the best Basque cheesecake I had in Bay Area!"
