Numero Uno Pizza

"This a great pie, either medium (pan) or thick crust (deep dish, my fav). Good amount of toppings, good value. Staff is very friendly/helpful. I ordered recently for super bowl and they promised a specific time and it was ready (sister got gluten free @ Dom across street, don't know why, but took extra 45 mins on top of what was promised). Great for pick-up/delivery, but they have a few tables w/big screen. A really good experience!"

"I traveled over 1,000 miles from Portland, Oregon yesterday and my first stop was the Numero Uno's in Granada Hills. I hadn't had a Numero Uno's pie in the last 3 years and was looking forward to the pepperoni with extra tomatoes. The young woman that took my phone order never submitted it with the kitchen, mostly due to the fact that I said I was at least 40 minutes away, and she said she would hold off placing the order for 15 minutes so the order would be fresh. Upon arrival, I found that my order was never placed. She then did something that people rarely do these days... she took ownership of her mistake. She made sure not to blame the kitchen. I told her that I just arrived from Oregon for my daughters wedding. She got everything prepared within 20 minutes and added a fresh carrot cake. When I arrived at my daughters house, I realized she had written a congratulatory note for my daughter (see below). I didn't get her name, but kudo's to her and Numero Uno's for their excellent customer service."

"I eat pizza at least once a week and have had many different styles of pizza from different restaurants. I have to say this is the best pizza place I have ever been to. Everyone was so kind and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be coming back. If you’re thinking about trying this place, just do it and you won’t regret it."

"I will have to give the chef my compliments. Will note, i personally ordered my pizza well done, i had the notion the extra crispy pizza dough would be just the edge to top off the usual texture... i was incorrect, the dough as they make it has been perfected and no modification is necessary. A true delicacy years in. Pepperoni, meat sauced spaghetti and dry salad with no onion... dressing on the side."

"Visited this place for dinner with the family on a Saturday evening, and it was basically empty. We were greeted right away and told to choose any table. We waited about 5 minutes, and the young lady brought over menus and took our drink order. She messed up on my wife's drink, but my wife refused to ask for her unsweet tea(she got a sweet tea instead). We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza New York style and a medium piza with the works. We also got some cheesy garlic bread and an uno caesar salad. The pizzas, cheesy garlic bread, and salad were all great. The salad was a good portion, and the ingredients were fresh. The only issue I experienced was that the lady attending to us never really returned to ask if we wanted refills or to bring the check. Parking, as far as I saw, was street parking. There is some parking in the back of the establishment, through the alleyway, but I didn't see spaces pertaining to the restaurant itself. Overall the food is good service could be better, but we will be returning again."
