"This place was really tasty! Came here as a group of about 10. It was a pretty small place with mostly patio seating. The bathroom was in an out building out back. I had 3 tacos quesabarria, shrimp, and smoked brisket. I really enjoyed them all. I would have preferred a stronger smoke taste from the brisket. But the quesabarria was on point. The staff was awesome! Just a bunch of chill people working hard and slinging tacos."
"Really great food! The chips and salsa are fantastic and they make a really good margarita! I got the burrito. It was fantastic. This place has a really good atmosphere and it’s really fun to eat outside during the summer."
"Simple menu and self service makes for a fast line when the place is busy. Tacos are truly great and suds on tap are expansive. This place is a must if you're in the area."
"Just had a lengthy lunch with friends here. We were first timers here. The service was warm and inviting. Nice salsa bar and good selection of beers. The food exceeded our expectations, we really were pleasantly surprised by the quality and nice presentation. The tortillas are made by hand on the patio, to order, both flour and black/blue corn tortillas. Will be back again. Thank You!"
"Really wanted this to be good all around, but we likely won’t be back. Pros: the tortillas are superb, I believe they make them on site. The tacos were large and ingredients fresh. Ceviche was solid. Seemed kid and dog friendly. Impressive salsa station. Cons: Cost and the mixed drinks. Get beer instead. My wife and I stopped in recently for our first visit since the Shack was in business. We each got the 2-taco combo (plus rice and beans), split the $18 ceviche and got two maragritas. With a 15% tip came out to $100. The tacos and portions were very satisfying. Quesabirria, Al pastor, fish and diablo shrimp. All bomb. Fresh ingredients, very tasty, came out quickly (under 10 mins on a busy day). The downside where the margaritas. I got the Mezcal margarita, which taste, like medicine, and my wife, got the Paloma, which taste like well tequila. Watered down and gross, pretty disappointed with those. I don’t think I will take another chance on a $12 margarita that tastes that bad, just get beer instead. Or go to Mezcal on Broadway for solid margaritas for half the price. I think the trick to this place is get one or two tacos à la cart, maybe one beer. Should keep the tab from being shocking. All in all, worth trying, but would not recommend a repeat visit. We'll stick to Mezcal."
