"Coming from the Southern US, I must say Phil’s is pretty okay. I wish they had brisket, mac and cheese, but that macaroni salad is it. Burgers are really good. Idk how it would do in South, but very good place. Service is just top notch. Atmosphere fantastic. It’s winning me over little by little."

"The food here was pretty good went to order our food and we got this fantastic kid named Noah with a great personality made our day. He got the order right with no problems and then we went and got a nice seat on the patio. There we had great service by someone named Aiden he did a great job. Great place to take the kids."

The servings were generous, with counter pick up (I think table service would have been better). > My quarter rack, 5 bones, ribs were really good. I ordered mine dry with sauce on the side. Rub was mildly spicy and the sauce was thin with a vinegar tang, really liked it. > Coleslaw was excellent, really tasty. > Fries very good, hot and slightly crispy. Service was friendly and store appeared to be clean. Easy parking. Recommended."

"One of the best places to get Pork Ribs, A must visit in San Diego. We got the full rack pork ribs with Macaroni Salad and Coleslaw. It was goooood. The meat was soft and tender, and their bbq sauce is one of a kind. The staff was welcoming, and the manager was kind enough to give us extra coleslaw on the house! Definitely recommended, and I will visit again soon."
