"We are visitors in San Diego and were craving for some filipino food. We decided to go to this restaurant due to it’s 4.5 star google review. We ordered Chicken Siopao, bulalo, pancit combo and pork sisig. The siopao was served cold. I informed the cashier and was offered to microwave the food. Next were the rest of our food. The sisig was dry and overcook. Not sure if its their style but the egg on was cook over hard. (Normally, its a runny sunny side up egg for customer to mix with sisig). The pancit combo was bland. The bulalo was the best tasting dish out of what we ordered but the bone marrow (which was “saved for last”) was still frozen. I respectfully brought the issue to the staff’s attention. She eventually offered to heat up bone marrow but we assumed that they will just microwave the food so we declined. We were given a MINI leche flan for the cold bone marrow to be shared between 4 people. Although the gesture was there, the way it was delivered lack sincerity. The ambiance was good but service was minimum. I wish our concerns were address at a more hospitable manner. Overall, we will not go back again."

"I really wanted to like this place. It's super cute inside and the people working there were very nice. We ordered two different noodle dishes one with tofu and one with shrimp. The one with tofu came with a decent amount but the one with shrimp only came with three shrimp. Are you trying to tell me you're charging an extra $2.50 for three small shrimp? Both dishes were incredibly salty, but bland and one dimensional flavor-wise at the same time. We got some vegetable lumpia and it was average. Also very salty and whatever the clear liquid was that you're supposed to dip it into, was not good and I do not recommend it. I'm sure they have other things on the menu that are better, but it's a 0/2 on this visit and I probably won't be back."

"Our recent visit to the small-owned Filipino restaurant was truly a delight! It was a clean and welcoming establishment. The employees were attentive and friendly. The highlight of our dining experience was definitely the flavorful pork sisig. It was packed with delicious flavors that left us wanting more. Only thing we didn't like is the pieces of pork were small and we both choked on it due to some chewier pieces. The beef pares was decent, but it was the pork sisig that stole the show. What impressed us the most was the quality of the food, even for takeout. The lumpia was perfectly crispy and not soggy at all, despite being packaged for takeout. Kudos to the restaurant for maintaining the same level of excellence even when enjoying their food at home. With such a positive experience, we can proudly say that we no longer need to make the drive to Mira Mesa for Filipino cuisine. This hidden gem has everything we need, and we can't wait to go back to try more of their mouthwatering dishes. I recommend giving this small-owned establishment a try."
