"Changing from 5 stars to 1. The person who answered the phone doesn't speak Chinese. Asked for someone who can because wife only knows the dish in Chinese. He refused to find someone who can speak Chinese to answer the phone. The execuse: we are very busy now. That is ok. We just go around the corner and eat at Hong Kong BBQ Kitchen where has authentic Cantonese dishes and dim sum with large portions and good prices. Not intending to go back to a restaurant doesn't want our business. Don’t order fried rice here. Terrible taste and not authentic Chinese food! ==================== Liked their salt and pepper chicken wings! All other food we ordered were decent. Waiters take orders and bring food to the table. Not much service. Sitting/table space were adequate."
"The food remains outstanding, the service is quick and unmatched for a restaurant with wings and food of this caliber. The ambiance is fine, very mom and pop / hole-in-the-wall setting, but that is what gives it part of its charm. Showstopper: Wings (salt & pepper) 5/5 Greatness: Beef Chow Fun 4.5/5 Chicken Fried Rice 4.5/5 Tea for 2, 4.5/5 Finally, had a misunderstanding about price, and the manager was a complete pro. She answered my questions and was kind, respectful, and likable. How could you not love this place?! We will be back, again and again. Highly recommend you stop by for some delicious wings! Thanks for the great food as always."
"We ordered the beef chow fun which was the benchmark dish that can define the caliber of a Canto/Chinese restaurant. The taste was average, but the portion was relatively small for a chow fun that costs around 15 dollars. The rest of the dishes on the menu seem pretty average: they are what you would expect from an American Chinese restaurant. Nothing stands out. Nothing crazy. The waiters didn’t check up on our table the entire time. I’d say their service could improve"
"The food was not bad, but nothing really stood out. The warm watery sweet snd sour sauce served with the fried wontons was a no for me. Why Chinese hot mustard was not served confused me. Soup was what we ordered. One beef wor wonton and one bbq pork wor wonton. Portions were generous, and at least not overly salty/msg. I miss the real McCoy from China, so I am spoiled with real flavors. It's worth a try. Update.... I came back on Saturday the 9th (Sept), and I had another taste of their soup. I'm glad I did. It was just as good as the first time. Service was just okay, and about the same as first time. I was glad to not get those cheap wonton stixs as a type of free taster. That's not Chinese folks. The atmosphere is basic, so don't expect fancy. Tables are clean, and the seating is good. It looks like they do brisk takeout or catering. Next time I visit, I'll get something else off the menu. More to come! Stay tuned. Until then, go try."
"We went to Golden Chopsticks with family and friends. We had 10 people total. The service was EXTREMELY fast and they had all the food on the table within 15-20 minutes (it was so quick we ran out of space for all the food we ordered and they had to give us another table just so we had more space). We really liked the waiters and waitresses at the restaurant. They spoke Mandarin and English, they were very friendly and served us quickly. The food was very americanized Chinese food but they did have some dishes that were very authentic Chinese as well. We loved the fried chicken (we liked it so much we ordered 2 :) I would definitely go back to this restaurant again."
