"BBQ brisket and pork ribs combo with Mac n cheese and coleslaw, need I say more? Ready in minutes! $21 but I would've spent a lot more for sushi next door. Only complaint, the soda did not taste like coke at all, not even as good as store brand cola. It's one of those fancy machines that allows you to mix syrups to get like 100 flavors so it's not like they didn't mix it right I imagine, maybe they need to clean the machine? Soda at most places doesn't taste right so no star deducted but at a restaurant it should, this place may be fast food but at restaurant prices, it should."

"Place gets worse and worse every time I go. Guess it’s my fault for continuing to go. Brisket was dry and tough. Ribs were dry and hard. Mac. And cheese had zero flavor. Only got that because fries and onion rings were not available. I opted for chips, but the cashier said they were all expired from Sept, 2023. The piece of bread was hard and was hardly edible. Half the menu items are crossed off. Cashier was blasting his rap music so loud I couldn’t hear the people at my table. Just close already."

"The staff was super friendly and the food as always was delicious! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because this is a franchise location that doesn’t participate with the promotions in the app. I get messages about daily specials and special discounts, but can’t even order through the app to get them because they aren’t available at this location. Something for the owner to think about, along with food offerings in the app that aren’t available in person. Let’s see some loaded baked potatoes! You might consider adding the missing soft serve! Especially with the University and Hospital basically across the street from you! The place was empty the whole time we were there, wouldn’t you love a full house at lunchtime? I’d eat here at least once or twice a week if I could afford it! Just think about how much more business you could be doing!!"

"Have eaten Dickeys at several locations. When visiting San Marcos saw a familiar brand name and stopped for lunch. Ordered pulled pork plate and a chicken Caesar salad. I was the only guest waiting after ordering. I watched the staff moving about and doing several other tasks, none of which included making food. After 20 minutes I asked what was status of order and both employees realized no one was making food. I then watched lettuce being pulled from the store bag, not rinsed or washed, cut on a metal tray and throw into a chili bowl container and topped with some chicken. They pulled the pork from the hot box and threw it in a box and apologized for the wait. I had to ask where the sides of potato and coleslaw were, it was forgotten. They quickly threw it together. I then went to the bbq selection to grab some to go, only to find it cold and the steam tray not working. For $30 I was highly disappointed in the experience. From service, to order fulfillment, to quality."
