"My family and I absolutely LOVE Del Taco. We lived near this one for 4 years and we went as a family for dinner every Tuesday for the entire time we lived there. Then we had to move because my dad is in the military. My four siblings and I have so many childhood memories at that specific Del Taco. And today, after 5 years and two moves, we have come back to California on vacation and we got to visit our favorite Del Taco again. It was magical for our family. Everything was nearly identical to how it used to be back in 2019 when we last were here. We all were so excited. We love Del Taco and are so sad there are none in the East Coast where we have lived the past few years and where we will live still when we move to the New England area. Thank you Del Taco for giving us so many wonderful family memories and remaining the same so we could once again enjoy the simpleness of an affordable and memorable family dinner. On behalf of my entire family we could not have been more satisfied with our experience and recommend Del Taco (specifically this one in San Marcos, as we are partial to it) to all. P. S. "Today when I pick up your order at Del Taco at 736 Rancho Santa Fe Rd. at approximately 8:55 pm, a Del Taco employee was very rude to me, disrespectful and threw a bag of food at the end. He refused to give his name, and after several attempts I tried, he called himself Paul! I have never seen a more disgusting attitude towards customers anywhere. Such unprofessional staff should not work at Del Taco This issue should be taken under the control of management and studied, since such treatment of restaurant customers is simply unacceptable."

"OMG this is a really great Del Taco location! I work locally and stopped in on my lunch for a quick bite to eat. The service was great and I love how they call your order by name and not a stupid number. The food was super fresh and you could verify this by actually seeing all the vegetables and fruit behind the counter. I have to admit that it’s pretty refreshing to see what would usually be hidden or out of view to customers. Try finding that at any McDonalds or even most good Taco Shops here in Southern California. This location had a salsa bar that was a great touch and I enjoyed knowing I wasn’t using a bunch of one time use plastic packets that are horrible for the environment. Did I mention the restaurant was very clean and obviously well kept."
