"Used to be for large goth girls, now you'll see beige everywhere, "wine 'o clock" adjacent slogan shirts and leopard print. Fun legging patterns are online only. Short peoples leggings and pants, online only. But the main gripe with the company is that they're constantly discontinuing bra designs (yes also the fabric patterns seasonally as you'd expect, but I'm talking about serial numbered designs that have a consistent shape of the fabric, cups, frame and bridge all together) it's maddening. If you find one that fits just right, take out a loan and buy as many as you can carry because it'll be gone next season, replaced by something very similar visually but with a different serial number indicating a redesign. When they do something well they do it really well, but consistency is key and they just can't seem to manage that."

"I purchased a couple of items that turned out to not fit I went to return them to the store and was told because the tags were not on the clothing that I could not return them. All I wanted was an even exchange for a larger size. I will never set foot in another torrid again, you stole my money you've wasted my time and I cannot believe I have spent thousands of dollars in the past in these stores. I will now start shopping at Lane Bryant and other plus size friendly stores. This is a terrible shame because torrid you were an amazing clothing store I will be making sure to let my other friends know about this and I will encourage them to shop elsewhere and not torrid anymore."

"The staff were welcoming and kind, professional. I'm honestly grateful that someone is actually trying to offer clothes that isn't for skinny people only. I really love the jeans and I hope my mom does too. Everything is at a reasonable price, the sweaters are perfect for cold winters. I would definitely recommend buying from here. Definitely coming back for more clothes."
