"Went here tonight after having a bad experience a few months ago. Got the 1/2 lbs brisket and collard greens. The brisket was not half pound and very under seasoned. Collards were super salty. Guess if you dip the brisket in the collards it would be good. I don't post very often essentially if it's a bad review. But stay away prices are to high for the cost. They did take off half the cost of the brisket that's why they got 5 stars for service."
"The atmosphere and customer service was great. My pork ribs had too much fat and seemed undercooked. I'll go again but order something else."
"Jack's BAR-B-Q is a great spot if you're looking for a relaxed place with a beautiful lakeside setting. While the food is good, it's the overall package of views and atmosphere that steals the show. On days when the weather is just right, I highly recommend opting for the outdoor seating on the lower deck. The view of the lake adds a soothing touch to the dining experience, making it incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. It's the kind of place where you come not just for the food but also for the scenery and ambiance. Speaking of the food, we ordered a variety of dishes to sample. The Brussel sprout & fries were a tasty start, providing a nice blend of flavors and textures. The smoked meat and ribs were decent, though not exceptionally mind-blowing. It seems like Jack's BAR-B-Q leans more towards being a place where the scenery and atmosphere take center stage rather than solely relying on culinary fireworks. We also tried some cocktails, but I found them to be a bit underwhelming. Personally, I would suggest skipping the mixed drinks and opting for a refreshing beer instead; it might complement the casual BBQ experience better. Next time, I might just go for a cold beer and soak in the scenery a bit more."
"We went to celebrate our anniversary and it was outstanding. Pros: Food delicious, generous amounts, great atmosphere and on the water. We got the one rack of ribs (pork) for two, with two fries, two large sides, for $59.00. We added corn bread, a small grilled corn, and wine. Ton's of food, came home with leftovers. Large menu with to go options. Loved the place, we will be back. Cons: dirt parking"
