"I was a little skeptical this place was going to be a less exciting version of the Dickies that it replaced. I was absolutely mistaken. Walking in you are overwhelmed by the intense and delicious smell of smoked meat. Menu options are numerous. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Smoked chicken wings—amazing flavor. Spicy in a great way. Pulled pork—probably the best I’ve ever had Brisket—very good The real stars of the show though for me were the kimchi and the mixed vegetables. Sounds boring right? You just need to trust me here and try them. Next time we go I’m probably going to get the sides a la carte and skip the meat!. They are that incredible! Needless to say, we will be back."

"Ribbro took over where Dickey's was so I figured I'd give it a try. I got the brisket sandwich combo. The brisket is chopped into small pieces, bun is small and the order of crinkle cut fries was small too. The food for the price is definitely not worth it. How long will this business last? The fries were the best thing, they should have at least provided more of them on the combo to fill one up. This felt like lunch at dinner prices."

"The first time that I ate here the ribs were excellent, the meat was falling off the bone, there was butter on the bread, got two sides and a drink for around 30. Went there earlier today asked for the same thing and the lady at the register didn't know what I was talking about. Upsold me on the rib plate I'm thinking if the ribs was as good as last time it's okay for the extra 10 bucks. The ribs were mediocre this time around, felt like it was cooked a long time ago and it was microwaved to back up to temperature. The meat was chewy and not at all appetizing. It was so disappointing. I ordered some brisket to come along with it and it sorta made up for the disappointing ribs. It comes with only one side so i tried the potato salad and it had a strange taste to it, definitely needed more salt. Music was played too loud in the restaurant Overall, I don't know if I can come back here again or recommend it to any of my friends. Sucks, was looking forward to another bbq place near Lake Forest. This time it was just bad, and I can't risk spending this much money for mediocre food"

"From the moment you walk into this place, you smell the warmth of the wood fires in the kitchen and you know, immediately, it's going to be good. Korean styled American BBQ is not only a brilliant idea on paper, but in application, and comes to form in delicious tender meats that melt in your mouth. The flat-cut fries also hold all the qualities of a perfect fry. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. The few people I interacted with to pickup my order from were incredibly sweet and helpful, which just put the cherry on top of the whole thing. This is absolutely a new favorite spot for me, and I cannot wait to come back!"
