"My compliments to the chef and staff here at Brightwaters. Fairly new to Huntington Beach but already made a name for themselves with their extensive wine list and their delicious food. I tried the Short Rib over polenta and the Mashed potatoes. Both were delicious, I definitely want to come back to try their brunch menu on Sat/Sun."
"What a great find. This place offers live bands and amazing food and cocktails. We started off with a nice brighwaters Irish maid, and it's a must-have. We opted for a mushroom toast, which is highly recommended, and I'm glad I ordered it, their steak tartar followed by a duck confit sandwich and their black pepper beef and onion. Food is amazing, but portions are in a smaller size, so make sure to order more."
"You really need to visit this place if you appreciate & enjoy fine wine, food and live music. Annie is the owner and super friendly. Nice alternative to downtown. Cocktail shown is the Brightwater Sunset. Craft cocktails."
"This business is only 2 months in and still working through the kinks. The food menu is well designed with nice variety and interesting options. They stated they they are still tweaking the menu. The staff was super friendly, but not particularly knowledgeable of the food or wine. They always tried to find the answers, but did not seem prepared. Typically, a wait staff will review/taste the menu before starting a shift so they know how to speak to the different items. They aren’t there yet, but I hope they keep working on it. The portions are very small and the prices are quite high. The wine selection is decent, but lacks some variety. Again, the staff struggled to speak with to the wine menu with any knowledge, but really tried and were very kind. I’m hopeful that they will work hard on continuing to improve as I would like to see them succeed. In the meantime, Main St. Wine Company around the corner is dialed in on great wine options with an excellent Sommelier running the show. I’ll return soon to see how they are progressing here."
