"Went there for a business dinner. It was nice! Good cocktails (loved the lavender drop).. and the food was quite good! They could do a little bit with the decor.. with 70's Casino restaurant carpet, old wood.. but then again, the Queen Mary looks unkempt as well, so.."

"It was a classic full sevice meal. Fantastic atmosphere, stellar service, fantastic food. I found the chateaubriand to be just about perfect. Tender, flavorful with just the right amount of char to bring out all of the flavors and textures of the meat. Had a side of mushrooms, (3 types). The entertainment for the night was a actual dumpster fire on a lower level. They had to evacuate the entire ship."

"My husband and I tried the beef Wellington a while back at one of the tastes of long Beach events. On our anniversary he and my family surprised me with a visit here. I of course had to have the beef Wellington again but we also decided to try different dishes so we got an array. Everything we ate was absolutely wonderful. With the music playing I felt like I was actually traveling aboard the Queen Mary during one of her voyages. I couldn't have had a more magical night. It is a bit pricey do I won't be able to go back anytime soon but I know I definitely will!"

"This is not a "first date" restaurant- this is a place to celebrate a special occasion. Nostalgia and elegance naturally brings an upscale and romantic vibe to this European-ish restaurant. Service is excellent and attentive, which is in itself part of the romance that is lost in many of today's upscale restaurants. We've fortunate to have experienced small, medium, and large groups in Sir Winston's throughout the years, and all have been memorable in their own way. Food is an experience in itself, and the Long Beach night skyline views are a nice bonus."
