"Ordered my food and saw the cook play with his phone put it down - then began to fry up my order without washing his hands. I paid and threw it away. The place up the street made me sick so I just cook at home from now on. I drove home horrified and upset that no one is there managing their workers."
"OK OK OK, I have got to say this loud and proud this Larry's hamburger joint is a old-fashioned great Burger joint I mean a really great Burger joint. Talking to the owners they say they've been in business for 30 years and I completely believe it The food is fantastic. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a large Diet Coke Now these days with inflation it seems restaurants are given you smaller portions and are raising the prices at the same time. However I'm here to say that Larry's hamburgers in San Pedro is an absolute great value meal for your money, kinda place. I mean the Burger was huge huge I can't say it enough it was frigging huge... And the fries were delicious cooked perfectly and you can't go wrong with that Coke, I asked for Well done, and the Burger was Grilled perfectly, it has to be one of the best burgers I've eaten in quite a while, granted it's in San Pedro which is quite a distance from the City of Orange but I was in the area because I was dropping off my 1986 yamaha maxim motorcycle at century motorcycles down on Pacific street. So if you're in the area or if you just are willing to drive a little bit of distance for a really great burger Larry's hamburgers is the place you want to go trust me it's worth the drive."
"My husband and I went here for the first time and we told them it was our first time( translate; be patient, let us check out the menu and maybe answer questions regarding the menu). The young lady at the counter was pleasant and the older gentleman there was pleasant(opened the door for us, greeted us with a smile). I found it strange that a burger joint did not have a burger combo or burger special of any kind. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, two chili dogs and an order of fries. The chili dogs were 6.40 each, for that I got a weiner, bun and chili, I had to beg for onions, I wanted mustard and relish on the dog, they have me little packets... The hamburger was meh... The fries were 3.60 and it was the smallest order of fries I have ever seen. The problem was the cooks attitude.. He did not want to prepare the food the way I wanted it... the issue with the onions was silly and even though he put them on, he went overboard with it. Photos included. I will not return, I thought the good was a bit overpriced and did not like the cooks attitude."
"I've only visited this place twice. The first time was in the evening, and I had a great experience with a friendly, sweet, and professional young lady. However, my recent visit today at 1:45 in the afternoon was quite disappointing due to the presence of an older lady with an unpleasant attitude. To start, she struggled with handling a phone set up for Apple Pay. When I handed her the phone, ready to pay, she accidentally touched the screen and then blamed me for not authenticating with Face ID. What made matters worse was that this lady proceeded to handle food items like lettuce and tomatoes. As new customers arrived, she shifted roles to handle money as a cashier. This lack of separation between food handling and cashier duties struck me as unsanitary, and it goes against the standard practices in the food industry. Overall, my impression was that none of the staff working there seemed happy. I left with a sense of low morale and a toxic atmosphere at this establishment. Needless to say, I won't be returning."
