"Rude, judgemental and unfriendly morning employees, yes there are a ton of homeless in the place especially when they open until around lunch time and with that comes a few interesting issues for anyone who is visiting but the employees are just really nasty and show to care very little about trying to learn how to properly communicate and be respectful to the people who are there on a regular basis as paying customers. You don't treat people like dogs because they may not look squeaky clean"

"This McDonald's is heavily impacted by the basic needs of our homeless neighbors. It's most evident when the manager is seen having to enforce the posted 30 minute seating limit in favor of "appropriate" dining etiquette. Unfortunately, this is one of the few places that someone can rest for 30 minutes after spending the entire evening in the wintery outdoors. This McDonald's and potentially all businesses are shouldering the burdens associated with our City's and society's need to find sustainable solutions. We are all in this together. Be mindful of ways you can help. Every contribution be it love or labor is appreciated. Blessings to all for a better tomorrow."

"This is the best place jn the whole world. They let the homeless use the toilet and give them respect. The team is led by susana who is extremely competent and caring but clear. The lady at the cashier is angelica and she is calm and welcoming.. she ensured all the orders were taken properly and was patient. Met some amazing hard working homeless people.. and in the best village santa monica... People are caring here. People care for them here as they sleep in the beach."

"Ok the food is great quality service is exceptional especially considering how busy it is non stop the large item dining room makes the atmosphere more calming due to the heavy crowd. My only complaint that broth my main rating down to 3 stars is they don't offer free refills. Considering this McDonald's is located near a beach there a high liklyhood there may be a guest that's dehydrated and would hate to pay full price again and again for sweet tea or hi c poweraid when each choice only costs them pennies on the dollar per serving."
