"Really nice experience. The food was really tasty, and the service was great. The doro wot is SO good."
"I have tried the neighboring Ethiopian restaurants and would conclude that Lalibela does it best. After my first try, it became an immediate favorite. Their stewed lentils have such a distinct meaty, spicy quality which is both very delicious and entertaining upon remembering it is only veg. The fried fish is also notable. Each different food on their plates pair so well with one another that sharing with someone (or stuffing your own mouth is) is recommended. Quiet and comfortable little place. But I agree with the consensus that service is alarmingly slow. Good place to take it nice and easy."
"Their service is extremely slow. We waited a solid hour for the food, and can rarely grab a waitress for help. I can smell strong smokes indoor, not good for kids. Most ridiculously, we have to add $7 if we want to share the foods."
"Great food, very tasty and filling. We got the kifto sandwich and the zilzil tibs. The kifto is steak tartar on a roll, with their butter sauce. The zilzil tibs is grilled steak and onion with jalapeno."
"My first time trying Ethiopian food. My cousin is a vegetarian so this was a wonderful meal but since I mainly tried the veggie utopia, I wished I ordered a more meatier option. The veggie utopia was aesthetically pleasing and also quite tasty especially their lentils and carrot potatoes. The street gets busy and parking can be quite hard to find."
