"Woweeee!!! All I gotta say is FISH TACOS. A 10/10 must for the fish tacos. Battered and GLUTEN FREE. Which is a big one for me. Hard to find fried and gluten free. One of the best fish tacos I’ve had. I’ve had probably everything on this menu and I recommend the playa chicken bowl and the mushroom jalapeño steak quesadillas. But I’m gonna come back soon for those fish tacos. Chips and salsa, guac, and street corn are all incredible sides too. Try them all! Love this place. Great service and friendly. Strawberry basil lemonade is my personal favorite and a go to as well."
"Tocaya was fresh, fast, and delicious. With tons of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options, everyone can find something to love here. It’s a casual sit down restaurant known for creative tacos, bowls, and burritos. I had the grilled pineapple pastor bowl with achiote chicken and vegan mozzarella. Pickled onions and pineapple offered the perfect acidity to complement the beans and rice. The guacamole was flavorful and light. The chicken was well cooked and juicy. I was also impressed with the serving size. My friend ordered the taco trio, which she says was “SOOO GOOD!” This was a meal that left us feeling satisfied and energized. Tocaya also offered a variety of inventive, tropical-inspired cocktails that I did not try, but look incredible. Shoutout to Jojo for her excellent service! Highly recommend Tocaya for your next lunch stop."
"I stumbled upon this place after walking at Venice Beach and wanted to check it out after hearing good things from a friend who regularly orders their catering. The staff were so friendly and offered great suggestions. I was really impressed with the vegan and vegetarian options and they tasted great! I also appreciated the types of drinks they offered, especially the non-alcoholic beers. I will definitely be back"
"This is a good Tocaya location, and if you come in Taco Tuesday, each taco is only $2! It unfortunately located in an odd area with not much parking other than street parking. However as always, they have great organic taco options from vegan to vegetarian to omnivorous! The chips were also good too here. I would come back, or try out any other Tocaya location."
