"Was my first time at any Drake’s location and I was very excited to try the beers. The host told us a list of details about where the self-serve water was and where the bar was but I couldn’t hear the host because they directed the speech to one person. So I asked my friend to repeat and even he was confused about the list of details- or maybe he didn’t care!? I should’ve asked the host to repeat the spiel. I don’t mind ordering from an app, but it sounded like we were supposed to order drinks directly from the bar, so I went into the bar and eagerly looked at the bartender, who noticed my sister and I standing there, but he waited for the paper tape of orders to pop out. And he had a lot of drinks to fill, but what about the people who are actually at the bar? Do they need to order from the app, too? We all ordered food and drinks on our own phones and I got my loaded pork fries right away while the rest of our group waited a long time for their food. We got our food much later than the group who arrived after us. On a good note, everyone loved their food and drinks and it’s a very convenient location if you have a show at the Fox or Paramount. Next time, I’ll try the other Drakes locations to enjoy some tastes/flights of beers."

"Cannot beat the beer + pizza anywhere in California. Tons of amazing craft beer brewed by Drake's and others, and their pizza is super awesome! This time we also tried the jalapeno burger with jelly and arugula and it was deliciously balanced. Atmosphere is also amazing - I love sitting in the courtyard, You're outside but still inside the walls of the restaurant. You can sit inside at the bar for instant service, normally you order on your phone and they bring the food and drink to you . They have a big fireplace inside as well as multiple sitting areas around fires in the courtyard."

"come here for the vibes and spacious patio seating but don’t expect much from the food. really nice place to catch up with friends and good for groups. overall, not rushing to come back but would just stick to the drinks and fries. baldwin park fries: the best thing we got. imagine a better animal style in n out fries. a’lota burrata: tasty appetizer with good serving of burrata and sauces. good quality ingredients. the ‘89 pizza: good crust but way too salty. one dimensional flavor, would skip. joey pizza: the better pizza of the two with nice crust but flavors were still a little one dimensional"

"The best parts about Drake’s are their vibe and their large seating capacity. Music is always good and trivia is fun but not popular, I think they just need to advertize it better online and social media. Drinks are always great and we love the pomegranate cider from 2 Rivers but they never rotate the ciders—it had always been the same 3. Food is okay overall but their pizzas are pretty good. For the pizzas, they could definitely expand the toppings/sauce out a bit further and not leave so much plain crust. We got the Oakland Roots, the Ex, and spicy fries. Spicy fries and the Ex were great but the Oakland roots, was very oily."

"Food was good and the ambience is amazing and relaxing! Pizza are sharable size for two so i would not suggest ordering one each. Came here twice, first time I got soup and mac and cheese and it was amazing! Second time got Pizza and Pesto basil with bread. The pizza was crunchy on the bottom and soft on top which i love but the flavor was ehh. I truly believe it was the pizza i ordered that was off what i originally get but i would go again and pick one i know ill enjoy. Overall one of the best spots in that area for food."
