"It's a great place to go to pick up a few things. Their only downfall is alternative choices for milk and cheese things of that sort."

"This is a fun little quiet town to spend a casual afternoon. There are plenty of little shops and unique stops along the main road. I got lost in some of the nostalgia. Gardens full of unique flowers and great ideas for recycling materials into art. People are all warm and welcoming. If you ever pass through Old Orcutt, stop and smell the flowers, have a glass of wine or local brew, and enjoy the slower pace that is an pleasant find in California."

"This place does not resemble the place on their website! It's old and in need of refurbishing, and it doesn't smell good! Yes, there are many, many bottles of wine, but at 4:45 pm on a Saturday evening there was no one knowledgeable enough to assist with making a selection. The employee working at that time could only advise that they "sell a lot of this one!" Not her fault! She explained that it was not her department, and that's understandable. Employees should not be placed in a position where they cannot assist customers. I left without making a purchase. This store needs updating, a good cleaning and a few coats of paint."

"Well it's a great place if you like to buy over priced food sketchy meet and poor produce. But they keep their lushes happy with a nicely done wine area. There is no old town feel to this market anymore just the feeling of wine snobs judging you."

"This place sells everything a small town market should sell. The beer selection is not bad, but the wine selection is great. The deli counter is great, but pricey. It is a good place for lunch, or a quick snack. They also sells tourist t-shirts and nick nacks for people doing the Hwy 1 journey."
