"A year ago, I mistakenly gave a 5-star rating. I just filed my last bill with them and remembered it was hectic for me. My car was serviced, based on the dated bill, July. I had to call several times before I ended up towing it in late August to see the status of it. The bill was 3 digits in, and I literally drove it there. I washed the car in their parking lot while they charged my battery to see if it was still drivable; yet it wasn't--not upset about. What got is I had to call every 2 weeks for status, which caused me to swallow my pride and take what I had before going on a deployment. And yes, they were aware of this as well."
"If I could give these guys a five star plus rating, I would. Every time I go into this shop in particular, I know I’m going to get quality work done. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and will work to get you the best deal possible. I don’t take my car anywhere else for service. "Brought my vehicle in to get a transmission fluid changed. Came to pep boys because I was informed that they would do a proper transmission fluid change (drop the transmission pan remove all old transmission fluid and add brand new transmission fluid). The price was $315. I was watching the employee work on my car. Good thing I was because he did not drop the transmission pan. He simply just drained the transmission fluid through the drain bolt and dropped my car back down. I could have gone down the street to "oil changers" for that, at a much cheaper price. After pointing out the issue to the front desk. The price was knocked down from $315 to $260. These people don't know what they are doing. I don't know how they are still in business. Who knows what other services they are over changing on. Never coming back here again."
"It’s taken 3 hours to do an oil change!! I’ve been waiting 15 minutes to pick up my car and haven’t see anyone to help me at the desk. They need to hire more people. This place is clearly an an old warehouse cuz it’s really depressing…"
