"I embarked on a window installation project with Lowe's three months ago, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. After enduring multiple delays, the windows finally arrived, only to discover missing screens and glass. Lowe's doesn't handle the installation themselves, opting to hire a third-party contractor who then subcontracts the work further down the line. The subcontractor initially began the project but left it incomplete, leaving my garage filled with uninstalled windows. Despite numerous attempts to seek clarification and resolution from Lowe's installation service, they have been utterly clueless about when or by whom the remaining work will be completed. This level of incompetence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. It's disheartening to see a company of Lowe's reputation fail so miserably in fulfilling its promises to customers. I strongly advise anyone considering a home improvement project with Lowe's to proceed with extreme caution or explore alternative options altogether. Overall, this experience has been a colossal disappointment, and I would caution anyone against entrusting their home projects to Lowe's without thorough consideration of the potential pitfalls and frustrations they may encounter."
"Go to Home Depot instead if you are looking for advice or have questions about anything. Tracking down an employee for help takes forever (currently writing this after waiting nearly 20 minutes for help at the paint desk, despite 4x calls over the loudspeaker by the returns clerk) and when you do finally get someone - they are not eager to help. Store consistently feels short staffed (on ownership/management), generally unhelpful (on management/employees), and lacking in knowledge (on whoever is responsible for training). Edit: Had to ask yet another time for someone to be sent to paint. Was met with a “yeah if you really want me to I can go find him”. Rude. Man that helped me with the paint was friendly though. Whoever runs this store needs to put 50% more employees on the floor and implement a change of attitude. Thanks for the reply @Lowes"
"We came here searching for grout and were able to find everything we needed. There is a big variety of different materials, and the prices are moderately fair. The guy that helped us is very knowledgeable and we found everything in a timely manner. We had a good experience here."
"Had issues with installing my bidet and our toilet wasn’t filling the tank properly. John helped me find a rubber washer that he thought would fit and helped me find a fill valve for my toilet. I installed everything relatively quickly and everything works fine, no leaks. Thanks so much for helping me out, John!"
