"Coffee was great but their service sucks. Was not even welcomed by barista. Was also cut in line by a lady with her 3 dogs. When I said it was my turn the girls just looked at me like I was crazy. Once I received my coffee I said thank you and didn't get a response back. Like another gentleman said because I'm not part of that culture I didn't feel welcomed."

"The coffee was good, and the empanada was decent, but it was hard to justify the $9 price tag. More concerning though was the strange vibe I couldn't shake. It felt like a pretentious surfer vibe that was rather off-putting. It's hard to explain, but I didn't feel welcome there because I'm not a part of that culture. That's the best way I can explain it. I guess some places have a certain vibe that don't resonate with you, and that's okay."

"I went here to try their coffee, and was greeted warmly. I asked if they had decaf, they said yes and then as it was a warm sunny day and I was craving something iced, I asked for an iced decaf coffee. The guy working there simply said “no” and proceeded to stare at me like I should now leave. I got the feeling that it was “buy what we offer (which is super limited for a cafe) or don’t bother coming here”. I said thank you anyway and he continued to say nothing as I left. I get you only have hot coffee but how about providing some good service when you can’t offer what a customer asks for, or explain why and offer a recommendation. Not a great experience."

"Came here after an early morning Swamis surf to get warmed up. The Coffee and Cream was great and Not bitter. Just needed to be hotter. Loved the Empanadas ! Also need to be bigger and hotter. Ended up getting a Donut at VG's afterwards of course."

"They don't do drip. Closest thing is a pour over. They also sell empanadas. Coffee was good, but slightly too acidic for my tastes. Location is prime though, bring right near by VG Donuts."
